Trails Early Childhood Teacher
Trails Early Learning is a privately owned, newly established early education group, bringing a fresh perspective to the Australian children’s education and care sector. Our flagship Service, located in the newly developed Oran Park Podium shopping precinct in Sydney’s South West, is set to open in early 2025. The Trails Oran Park Podium facility is designed to incorporate natural elements, abundant light, fresh air, and ample space in both indoor and outdoor areas. Early Childhood Teacher – Trails Learning
We are seeking an inspiring and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Trails Early Learning Oran Park Podium.
In this crucial role, you will lead our 4-5 years with approx. 20 children per day implementing our innovative Trails 7 Pathways of Learning curriculum while drawing inspiration from Reggio Emilia principles and ensuring alignment with the EYLF and exceeding the National Quality Standards.
This role is for a passionate, driven Early Childhood Teacher who wants to make a difference.

About you:
- Approved AECEQA qualification as required under the Regulations and that meets the Education and Care Services Regulation.
- Leadership experience in Early Childhood, ideally at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- Current Working with Children Check and Child Protection Certificate or teacher registration (exemption) as required under legislation
- Strong knowledge of both the EYLF and NQS
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and high standards for environmental presentation
- A confident and warm manner with families, team and the community
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A desire to leave a positive legacy for the enrolled children and their associated community

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Educational Leader in program implementation
- Assist in maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance
- Prepare NSW Transition to School Statements to help school teachers get to know children before they enter Kindergarten.
- Comply with requirements of external funding including, but not limited to, Start Strong Preschool Funding.
- Mentor and support educators in their professional development
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Perform room leader duties
- Support the orientation of new families and staff
- Assist the Service Director in implementing and actively adding towards goals within the QIP/SAT
- Implement and guide educators in creating our service philosophy gaining regular feedback and involvement from educators, families, community
