Early Childhood Teacher – Trails Learning

We are seeking an inspiring and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Trails Early Learning Oran Park Podium.

In this role you will be implementing our innovative Trails 7 Pathways of Learning curriculum while drawing inspiration from Reggio Emilia principles and ensuring alignment with the EYLF and exceeding the National Quality Standards.

This role is for a passionate, driven Early Childhood Teacher who wants to make a difference.

• Approved AECEQA qualification as required under the Regulations and that meets the Education and Care Services Regulation.

• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
• Current Working with Children Check and Child Protection Certificate or teacher registration (exemption) as required under legislation
• Strong knowledge of both the EYLF and NQS
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and high standards for environmental presentation
• A confident and warm manner with families, team and the community
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Educational Leader in program implementation
• Assist in maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Comply with requirements of external funding including, but not limited to, Start Strong Preschool Funding.
• Mentor and support educators in their professional development
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Perform room leader duties
• Support the orientation of new families and staff
• Assist the Service Director in implementing and actively adding towards goals within the QIP/SAT

We are seeking an inspiring and experienced leader to join our team at Trails Early Learning Oran Park Podium to work alongside our management team to mentor and guide and lead a team of educators and ensure smooth running of the delegated classroom.
